p>Photographers exist in different flavors. Old school, manipulators, journalists, dreamers, artists and more. We all have a niche based on how we approach our craft which is then combined with our vision. I?ve shifted through various flavors over the years.
I grew up on Photoshop, learning to manipulate the effects of light far before I even fully understood how the shadows were cast. My inability to draw turned my graphic design dreams to a close right as I transferred my passion to the world of photography.
Teaching myself over the past four years, I have gone from knowing nothing about ?that aperture and shutter speed thing? to being published at the tender age of 17 and shooting covers before I went over the hill at 20.
Creatives are cursed into evolving by disliking any work they do practically the second before starting to work on it. I started out on digital, moved to film, went back to digital, and now I?m shooting more film. I love photos that are organic; have character and tones. It?s the little things that count. I don?t want to create something that feels fake.
I am based in Atlanta and available for assignment anywhere.
